Why do we start with Hello world

Since the first hello world program was written in 1972 , it bacame the tradition among computer science professors and teachers to start the programming journey of students by writing hello world . Moreover what i can think this word is quite easy for beginners "a short and crisp word". It is a parameter to measure the success of program if this simple code is running correctly then you can be assured that more complex programs will also run .
